Univ.-Prof. Dr. Janne Cadamuro (born July 21, 1974, Austria) is a laboratory physician and Head of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University Hospital Salzburg and Paracelsus Medical University. He studied medicine in Vienna and completed his specialist training in laboratory medicine in Linz, Böblingen, and Salzburg.

Cadamuro is internationally recognized for his work on the extra-analytical phases of laboratory medicine and laboratory diagnostic pathways. He has held leading roles within the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, including Chair of the Working Group on the Preanalytical Phase (2021–2025), and serves in multiple national and international committees, including initiatives in medical informatics and artificial intelligence.

He has authored over 170 scientific publications with around 4,000 citations (h-index 35) and contributes as editor to several journals, including Biochemia Medica and Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine. In addition, he is a lecturer at Paracelsus Medical University and Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
