Pille Mee

I work as a Lead Biomedical Laboratory Scientist at the United Laboratory of Tartu University Hospital (Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikum). I graduated as a Biomedical Laboratory Scientist from Tartu Applied Health Sciences University and later obtained a Master’s degree in Biomedicine from the University of Tartu. As a Lead Biomedical Laboratory Scientist, I am responsible for the pre-analytical phase of laboratory testing and for ensuring the quality and reliability of laboratory processes. I am also an active member of the Estonian Association of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists, where I serve as Training Coordinator and Treasurer. In addition, I contribute to the education of future bioanalysts by teaching part-time at Tartu Applied Health Sciences University. Through my professional, educational, and association-based activities, I am committed to advancing the bioanalysis profession and strengthening laboratory medicine in Estonia.
