Dr. Ilkka Juuso, DSc, works as Competence and Training Manager and EU MDR Lead Auditor for the notified body SGS Fimko (NB 0598). He is the Head of Delegation for Finland to ISO TC210 on medical-device standards, a management team member for CEN TC251 on health informatics in Europe, a leadership team member for RAPS Nordic LNG, and a member of the CEN/CENELEC Strategic Advisory Group on healthcare standards. He has written three books on medical device development for Routledge covering topics such as ISO 13485 quality management, medical software development, and usability engineering.
